Coasts and Collaborations

Another busy summer for me with lots of new work created for exhibitions and commission. It’s not all been work though as we managed a few nights away in our van exploring the Devon Coast, we were really lucky with the weather it really was like a Mediterranean holiday. Seeing the magical buck moon rise from the sea on a balmy evening was a very special moment which has inspired lots of ideas and concepts.

I’ve been working on a new series of work and collaborations with other artists friends including the wonderful ceramicist Charline Marzin who has created stunning forms with a ceramic glaze she created using the ash from my willow off cuts. It has then been my challenge to then weave willow forms and details onto these pots. It’s been my dream to invite my arts friends to exhibit their work alongside my own, these collaboration pots and other work will be on display in our new exhibition Clay & Sticks from Wednesday 8th - Saturday 11th October….poster and more details coming very soon so check back in to find out more!
