Finally! Our little yard is being sorted!

For all those who have come along to a workshop, a meeting, an exhibition or just pooped in to chat with me you’ll know how much we’ve wanted to get the little yard tidied up and safe. It was a weird mix of crumbling ancient stone wall, Victorian brickwork and the most random 1940’s retaining concrete lump which was a proper H&S disaster!

Well finally it’s happening, 32 tones of soil removed and a super retaining wall is going in as I type! We are also able to reuse the old hayloft door as beautiful replacement garden gate. I can’t wait to get my precious plants that have been in pots for years back into the soil! It’s a lovely little courtyard especially when the sun is shining so I’m looking forward to inviting my workshop attendees to enjoy the outside space when we stop for lunch. Really hoping I’ll be able to pop up a finished photo soon!
