Spring is here!
Finally having an admin day! So a super quick post from me in the Studio! The workshop has never been busier, I’m working on various willow projects at the moment as well as a big wire sculpture and lots of workshops in the diary so as ever I’ll be wishing for a cloning machine to spread the load.
In exhibition news I’m delighted to say our Clay & Sticks exhibition is coming to Cockington Court this May and June running from the 16th May until 28th June from 10am - 5pm ( closed on Tues & Weds) don’t miss our new collaborative pieces which re think the relationship between Clay and Willow.
I’ve been busy creating new animal shapes for workshops and these are now up on my website shop, so if you fancy making a runner duck, hen or large stag head do have a gander! This year has been so much fun already, teaching families, groups of friends and lots of wonderful people who have signed up for my workshops here in Mid Devon. Some of my favourites have been willow Heron workshops where the results are not only stunning but also help to keep the real Herons away from your fish! I’ll be adding more of these on my website soon too.
Our v slow renovation of the remaining room downstairs will have to wait until funding allows but myself and my long suffering partner have now at least made some wide steps from the studio doors into the small sun trap courtyard. So now if you book a workshop and want to to enjoy your lunch here you can now some sit in the glorious Devon sunshine amongst my growing collection of pots and climbers.
Hope to see you at a workshop soon.
